***400lb SHAKA to you & your loved ones***

Hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas.
I'm not sure did this little piece but I have a feeling it could be the creation of Chris Del Moro. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and you know who did it.

***LUCKY MAN***

In the last edition of Pacific Longboarder magazine, all the subscribers went in the draw to win a Bing Elevator and George was the lucky winner.....well actually, his partner Alicia won the board for him. Alicia gave George a 12 month subscription to PLB as a birthday gift and ended up winning George the board. As you can see from the photo above George is pretty stoked about it.
Alicia and George are owner/operators of Blue Afro Hair and Beauty Salon in Manly. So next time you're in Manly and you see someone surfing a blue Bing and they've got a huge grin on their face, good chance it'll be George. Congratulations guys....enjoy.

SOLID SOUTH SWELL ON IT'S WAY.....

This weekend's surf looks like we're going to have off shore winds with next to no swell. Tuesday's a totally different story, forecast is for a new south swell to peak at 1.5-2.0 meters with light winds. Wednesday and Thursday are looking promising at the moment as well.
If you call me mid next week and I don't answer my phone and you know me well enough, you'll know where I'll be. All we can do now is pray for perfect winds and the stars and the moons all align. I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa. See ya out there.

"He hasn't called me once.... since he got his new Bing"

Classic ad... This Bill Robbins photo resonated with the audience in SURFER magazine July 1965. More than a few teenage boys dreamed of rescuing this surfer girl even as they also related to the allure of the waves.

"Gee, I wish I had a Bing board" Another smart ad in Surfer magazine of Spring 1962. More than a few young surfers probably had the thought. This was Charlie Quesnel's.
All their old ads are featured in the 'Bing Surfboards, 50 years of Craftsmanship and Innovations'
