Smorgasboarder ad

Mr Simon Perini put this nice ad together for us which is in the latest Smorgasboarder mag. Turned out perfect as you'd expect from Simon. Cool mag that the guys are putting together and it's freeee. Sorry to the west coast guys, it's for us east coast dwellers only. I'm sure if you ask kindly Dave will post you out a copy (for a tiny fee of $18 you'll get 6 copies each year). Enjoy!!

Bing Family Tree

Nico's stitch work & Emi's board

My mate Nico the German makes these amazing 1-off board covers. This 1 was done 100% by hand. Just Nico, a needle and his materials. He made this one plus another for the talented surfer/shaper Jordie Brown.

Nico has also got his girlfriends board for sale. I can't tell you to much about the board except it's 9'3" and in excellent nick. Shoot him an email for more info on the board and his covers boesel.nico@googlemail.com

Ho'okupu now stocking Bing Surfboards

I'm really stocked to announce that Ho'okupu are now stocking Bing Surfboards. Ho'okupu carry some of the finest surfboards, art and photography available in this great country. Check out their website http://hookupusurf.com/ or call into the shop at 2/9 Lawson St, Byron Bay.

While we were in the Byron Shire we scored some amazing waves the whole time we were there. The shot above was taken on the Tuesday when it had settled down a little and had better shape to it. Buy Wednesday afternoon we snagged some super fun waist high runners. Happy days.

MINDS in the Water, full house.

The premier of MINDS in the Water was a good night and a full house with a few unlucky people turned away. The producers are traveling around OZ so try and get along and see and worthy movie. A real eye opener on what's happening around the world with whale and dolphin conservation and some damn good surfing. Go see.
