A long left hander and it's on the east coast of OZ

A friend sent me this aerial shot from the book Switch Foot II. This is my all time favourite place to surf and it's not to far from home. Oh, did I tell you it's super sharky...... Switch Foot II's a good read, grab yourself a copy if you haven't already got one.

#9246 6'2 Synchronizer

This Synchro arrived in OZ wanting to get a little plastic surgery done so we gave it a nose job. It had a small shatter on the tip of the nose and it's now been repaired. If you didn't know it was there wouldn't notice it. Ben at Six Ounce has got this one in stock and it's ready with the 5-fin bonzer fin set. Click here to view these pictures larger

We called into Byron on our travels home and met up with Beau Young and Bing Team Rider Chris Del Moro. I've always been a fan of Beau and Chris so it was a buzz to have a surf with these guys. Actually, I just floated in the water a watched these guys make it look so easy. Damn you two.
Thanks to Chris, Steve and Gary at Heritage Surf in Manly for putting on a show for us. Cool music and some chilled beers had by all. These guys stock high quality boards including of course a few Bings.
Tony and Mark sharing a moment outside The Log Shack at Coffs Harbour. Paul and Ken have started to stock Bing Surfboards in their cool shop. Call in and say hello when you're in the area.
Called in to see Mike at Sandy Feet at North Haven. This is a neat little surf shop worth calling on.
Ben from Six Ounce frothing over a delivery of Bings.
Matt and Ben could have chatted all day about surfboard designs and their function. Six Ounce is now stocking a good range of Bing Surfboards in their shop and there's more boards to come so keep your eyes peeled.

Matt Calvani, head shaper for Bing & Jacobs Surfboards will be in Sydney.

Matt Calvani head shaper for Bing & Jacobs Surfboards (California) will be in Sydney on the 27th & 28th of March. He'll be at Heritage Surf Manly on Saturday 27th March, Six Ounce Board Store (Bondi) on Sunday 28th March and Deus Ex-Machina (Camperdown) on Sunday 28th March. This will be a good chance to ask Matt anything to do with shaping and the Bing Surfboard lable. Matt has a huge amount of respect in Cal and is a gifted, down to earth shaper.
